Default Hungarian Goulash - dinner tonight

although it is more a paprikash than a gulyas......it is cold, damp and
dreary......nothing beats the cold in your bones than hot, spicy stew.

I agree. You've inspired me. (I feel like this about chili, too.)

Did you put wild mushroom in the dish? If so, which one?

No recipe for the non-Hungarians?

Go for it, girl. We Hungarians know how to deal with cold weather.

In Texas we have "blue northers", hard cold fronts that will drop the
temp about 1 dF per minute. I was in HU a couple of years back and
carried a sweater and a windbreaker, "just in case". While we were
out, a front passed through and I needed both, and more!

Bring on the paprikas, tokany, gulyas, porkolt. And glasses of
barackpalinka!
