Default need potato help

I saw a video a few days ago about oven frying potatoes and now I can't find
it. They were gold potatoes and first they were pre cooked a little and
then sliced in rounds and cooked in the oven. They may have been coated with
flour. Has anyone seen this video or can help with directions. I put this
recipe in one of those good safe places and I can't remember where I put it.

Just google for a recipe - not too much different from roasted
potatoes, if at all. I don't see a reason to pre-cook them, though -
kind of defeats the purpose of "oven frying," if you ask me.

I did find the video finally. It was Yukon golds sliced and parboiled then
put in an oven that had preheated the cookie sheet and adding oil to the
potatoes and sheet. Mine looked just like the video but they were actually
nothing special. I probably won't bother with them again.

Just cut the raw potatoes into wedges; drizzle or lightly coat with
olive oil; sprinkle on some dried herbs like thyme, basil, etc. ....
put in a single layer on a greased pan in the oven on high heat
(425-450 deg. F.) until brown and done....about 25-30 minutes.
