Why not just post the recipe here? I have rec.food.preserving and
there's no thread by that name.

I tried Vosges version when it was on sale and was not the least
bit impressed. I also didn't like the little meaty bits getting
stuck in my teeth, which somehow seemed worse when you were eating
chocolate.

Thanks Ginny.

I'm firmly in the camp of "If you refer to a specific recipe, post it
again, don't expect people to search for it". Why waste our time like
that? I did search for a thread called bacon jam in the preserving
group with my news reader's search function and I advanced searched
with google. Neither way turned it up. After I removed
"rec.food.preserving" from the search criteria, I found Chris's ping
about Bacon Jam to sky and Nancy Young's Bacon and Tomato jam, but
your bacon jam post was not in the batch I looked at.

That's from a cartoon TV show called the "Simpsons"

Yeah, in your world, it might be real....

Uh, I don't think that's real. Do the drawings look a little bit
familiar?

But there are chocolate bacon bars. They have been out for at
least a year.

I tried some. I'll pass. I'll stick to doing my candied bacon at
home.
