Never hoid anyone gonna move to Iowa to retire, nor to Michigan either
for that matter... most folks can't spell Eyeowah or Mitchogun and
think they're in Bulgaria, Slobovia, Transylvania...

....only those who are totally ignorant about the U.S. (including where
a lot of their food comes from).

I've criss crossed Iowa and Michigan by auto several times, the only
way one can appreciate just how much food comes from those states,
both crops and especially agri live stock:

I've lived in several places in and out of the USA; but I love WI. Yes, it gets cold, but there is plenty to do in the winter and it's pretty fun with great schools, scenery, foods, etc. People get nuts here at all times, while staying busy in a beautiful place.

It gets cold. I can handle that. I've enjoyed the south, but am unimpressed with public education and racism down there. East coast is too crowded, west coast a bit socialist for my tastes. I like Wyoming, Colorado and northern Arizona fine, though. Even parts of NM are way cool.
