Great gift! I recently heard McGee interviewed on a local
radio station. He was asked whether his focus on food
science undercuts the visceral/emotional response to
food and cooking. He acknowledged that it does. BUT,
he's not a committed debunker, more of having a better
understanding in the interest of improving food for
every day cooks. Well, that's what he said.
