Default HAPPY NEW YEARS TO BOTH SIDES

When I first started reading this group, I thought it was full of idiots.
Now I have realized that there are two distinct groups here. One that
actually cooks, and one that talks about it, and regards themselves as
cooking experts.

Omelet, you're a keeper. Keep on cooking. And writing.

sf, brooklyn, lumpy, peter, et al, keep up the good work of keeping the pot
stirred so it doesn't just become a burnt blob.

To the rest of the illuminati cabal, just keep doing what you're doing. No
one gives a shit anyway.

And to all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Yep. She makes a mean condensed soup casserole.
Good enough to slop a sow.

You'll have to admit, he's pretty entertaining sometimes, if you don't
let him get to you.

What, doesn't EVERYBODY make insalata caprese using tennis-ballwinter
tomatoes, and ruin it even further with cheap balsamic vinegar? And let's
try fenugreek on toasted French toast -- with homemade sausage from freezer
scraps! Gotta love the New Year's Eve treat especially: lumpfish caviar on
fried pork skin. Yum!

The only way he gets to me (or more properly, to my newsreader) is if
someone quotes him.

I think he must be referring to that guy who posts the jokes using Swallows'

A crossposting troll, it appears. He has six posts on my newsreader,
but I couldn't see them due to my filters. I don't have the name
killfiled. I did a quick Google and here's an example:

If you look at the grubs who've given only negative comments, you'll see that
one is a keyboard cook, and the both are just a bitter and twisted ****wits.

You and me both. But I did play a mean Violin, French Horn, and Trombone
when I was at school... and studied languages, so the "cool" kids probably
looked at me as a 'nerd'.

I just got super cool when I left school ;-P

Thinking back..... the "cool" kids at school were a bunch of retarded
misfits anyways!!

These days, we can see what a clique of snobby kids is worth - about the
same as a clique of snobby adults. :-)
