Default Anyone used the Calphalon renew program?

I am sorely tempted to try this and indulge myself in some Calphalon
simple stainless cookware. Is the program legit? anyone used it?
They offer to take back your old set, postage paid mailer and all.

I am slightly angered tho - tried to order their highly praised apple
corer online - oops - retail only. Bummer.

I should've read further. It's only good on the purchase of their
Unison Nonstick 8 or 10 pc. sets, which start at about 500 bucks.
Forget THAT.
I wish I had not started this thread. I am def. not interested.

No kidding!!! Fuhgettaboutit!! Sounds akin to those 'rebates' for a
new car, or something like that? Either way, 'big bucks' are involved!
....... maybe if one wins that big lottery, perhaps both might be an
option then, eh!

Er, to clarify - I meant 'no kidding' - I'd feel the same way! Talk
about expensive & more!
