Whenever I drive on Hwy 24 near Lafayette, CA, and look at 6000 crosses representing 6000 19+/-year old kids who have died, it's hard not to shed a tear. However, I think it's generally agreed that if the British and the U.S. didn't land on the Normandie beach 67 years ago today[June 6, 1944] everything in Europe, and the world would be different today. That doesn't justify those innocents that perished. That's the tragedy of it all. Kent |

Much excellent foods One of the towns they're considering evacuating because of the wildfires is Springerville, AZ. There is a restaurant there called Los Dos Molinos* that has punishingly hot salsa. The food wasn't memorable except to say that it was the least appealing Mexican/New Mexican food I've ever had in the Southwest, but I'll never forget that red. Ouch. http://losdosmolinosaz.com/springervillemenu1.html > > John Kuthe... --Bryan |

More crab than cake! YUM! And had the chocolate mousse for dessert. YUM! :-) John Kuthe... |
