Crows? I don't live in Everett but close to it. I will have to google
that. I haven't heard anything but I have seen a lot of crows around
lately.,

It's apparently just against cops. The theory is they got harassed by an
officer and since they can distinguish people's visual characteristics they
are attacking anything with a uniform. I have to tell you crows are pretty
amazing birds. I had a pair build a nest in the Jacaranda outside my place.
They were very threatened by me while their babies were growing. They'd get
very aggressive when I stood under their tree. So I started leaving food
out for them, organic raw trail mix and they saw me do it. They loved it.
And they seemed then to recognize me as a friend and left me alone. I got
to watch all three of their young fledge and from a very close distance.
I'm hoping they raise another clutch.

I just looked it up. Looks like some government workers were attacked as
well.

When we lived on Staten Island there was a pair of nasty mocking birds that
loved to dive bomb the kids. AFAIK nobody was ever hurt but it was quite
scary. I am not a bird lover.

One place I lived at in Edmonds had this bird that woke me up every morning.
The bird knew only one note!

At this same place, I got home from work one evening. Got out of my car and
didn't do this on purpose but just sort of stretched out my arm and at that
exact point in time, a little bird flew right into the palm of my hand.
That was just too freaky. I didn't like it and neither did the bird!

supposedly they are nesting, one of the officers turned his siren on to
spook them and they think every one of them in the uniform is him and are
attacking because they walk near their nesting places, Lee

I'm with Paul, the blasted things sing all day and most of the night,
mainly while sitting in a bush near my bedroom window. Of course they're
trying to lure in a female so they sing loud and long. I sic the dog on
them, she will never catch them but will chase them away for awhile.

My office has a balcony and I have several crow visitors, although
mine are really ravens. They will take food from my hand. If it is too
much to carry in one go they will hide the extra and come back later.
I gave one a very hard biscuit one day, it soaked the biscuit in a
puddle until soft enough.

Funny, I witnessed that just a few weeks ago, when my pool was still
covered. I looked closer to see what some crow was doing, it was
soaking a dried end of Italian bread in the water. Flipped it over a
couple of times and took off with it.
