I've never been the iwantitnow lobster fan like others may be, but I
certainly have enjoyed seeing that youngster come up in the food
entertainment venue as he has. The first I saw of him was in a Bobby
Flay Throwdown. Now in it seems like only two years or so past the
BFT, he has an interestingly entertaining show all his own. Good for
him!

I haven't seen his show yet, but yeah - good for him!

Mmmmmm. But I'd leave out the garlic and Old Bay.
Fresh lobster stands by itself on a roll with just a
bit of mayo or melted butter, Maine style.

If you like craft beers. there were lots of microbreweries that had
good lobster. Gritty McDuff's comes to mind.

Last time we were in Maine we had 5 lobster meals in 2 days. Lobster
Eggs Benedict is way better than it sounds. ;-)

I am not a drinker, but would be easily tempted to visit any eatery
that offered up decent lobster.

I recall being in the area some years ago while performing in a
show...I had lobster for 3 meals a day for a good part of the two
weeks I was there.

Don't forget the steamers and fried clams as first courses and snacks. The
corn will probably still be good that far north, or not. Can't remember.

I will neglect none of that, I promise, and will eat as much as I can.

You know, it was the seafood that prompted the trip...well, that and
Acadia.

I'm with you regarding the bay leaf, definitely out of place, and with
butter, definitely right on spot. But the garlic, I'd sure miss it

It's not a bay leaf, Vilco - Old Bay is a seafood seasoning (not
appropriate for lobster).

Local supermarket has them for $5.99 through Sunday. Big and little
ones.

I disagree. I have often made mayonnaise with Old Bay and or a touch of
garlic to accompany lobster. I grew up with lobster, but it never became
common to me.

Well, we're all different. Old Bay on crabs is a must but just
melted butter on lobster is heaven to me.
