Yeah though, he has 6 cats last I recall a number mentioned and he seems to take the best of care of them that he knows how. A much better care than most do if i can believe what he posts (always problematic with him). I have zero reason to believe however he doesnt give the best care to his cats even if the details get wildly fantasmigorial in his mind and trip out his fingers at times. From what i have seen over the years, he'll go hungry if he needs to so as to feed the cats. I bet my bottom dollar if he was hungry and just had a can of tuna, he'd feed the cats and lick the can for his own dinner. All at the same time he will be rude, abrasive and abusive here while quietly at home, feeding the deer and cats. Grin, dont be confused. I feel no need to restrain myself with sheldon when he irks me, but I can also recognize his good parts and he has many of them. Takes time though to understand them! |

i know the steps to bottom posting the s/r program won't allow it, unless
you want to cough up three grand for the system that will allow it i am stuck top posting, now proper caps is a matter of being able to reach the shift key with my fingers, somedays, and even some sentences, maybe, other times no, that i wish i could change but its a matter of how the joints are doing. i ws so thrilled when i first installed thunderbird, it had that little check mark that said, always post at bottom great... i set it all up, s/r worked perfectlu through set up and then i opened a message... total lock up no reading, i tink newer versions of what i use to read with might work, but i am not serious enough about bottom posting to spend three grand, hope that makes sense, lee "Roy" > wrote in message ... you are a better person than i am then, i migt give him another chance, i

However, I admit that your top posting (to a group where the vast majority don't practice it themselves) becomes confusing when trying to read who said what to whom in a given thread... (not that my opinion matters one iota to you, I'm willing to bet). FWIW, I am also fairly sure you are not the only 'officially blind' person who participates in r.f.c. - heck, even the poster who calls himself "Orlando" manages to 'middle post' and 'bottom post' on the odd occasions he joins in the discussions here. -- Cheers Chatty Cathy |

orlando has a much better system than i do, if i had his system and skills i
would probably be better at it, he and i have talked off group, his system is designed for academic work and much more sophistocated than mine. what i do appreciate is the fact that you are so polite about it, that makes all the difference in the world to me. I am sure that many who post here and on other groups have lots of differing levels of disablities... and some luckily can be handled with the basics that microsoft offers, two best for people who wear glasses are magnifier and customising stylesheets. He obviously takes the best care he knows how of his cats and likes feeding the local deer. He can post some simple basic recipes that a regular person at home might make and some are quite tastey seeming. Although often fanciful about what he did, the posts really do validate he had time in the Navy for 1-2 tours with experience as a Navy cook on shipboard. Like all he would have 'mess cranked' but his details prove he did more than that for a period of time I estimate to be possibly 3 years though hard to tell. He can be funny as hell in a droll sort of way if he isnt picking on 'you' (whoever that is, sometimes me and even I can laugh when he picks on me). Unlike some here, he's real people. Maybe he's the sort you dislike, but he's real. -- |

Prices on this have gone up to close to 4,000$ again. I am not sure why. Economy related? Maybe I'm looking at more additions too. For a totally adaptive system, still running close to 6 grand. It's been that since about 2002 when it dropped from 10 grand to 6. In 1986 they ran 14,000$ and didnt do what the today 3,000$ machines provide. -- |

i quit worrying about whose kf i am in, i post for my enjoyment, i read to
be entertained and learn new things, if you don't fit that cryteria or become rude, vulgar or abusive to me or others beyond a disagreement you go in kf, like sf for example, we don't agree a lot but for the most part we just don't agree she isn't rude vulgar or nasty to any great degree, btw, sorry to sf for talking about you like that, just you were the first one to come to mind. also sometimes someone goes into kf but if i come across a decent post tht someone has responded to i read and cn't remember why i put them in kf they come out again until i remember via the repeat behavior, Lee "cshenk" > wrote in message ... > > Storrmmee wrote in rec.food.cooking: > >> you are a better person than i am then, i migt give him another >> chance, i would starve before letting the cats be hungry one single >> day, i mean i took them in they depend on us for their food/care, so >> its up to us to do it, lee, says as she remembers last month's vet >> bills... > > I know the feeling on the bills. i can tell you why prices are up right now, today, this minute...
I got a call today from a rehab sort, they got stimulus money, they want me to open a case to see if any of the new stuff will help in my job... i told her what i really need, and the program i need is 14 hundred, i need an external drive to run it on, and i need a compact notebook so its easy to carry but has the power to handle windows data base/spread sheet stuff... then what i need even more is a gismo that will snapshot things and give a verbal readout so i can know the denominations of money and invoices for machine parts.... all told around 11 k last time i looked... she seems to think they will buy it, i doubt it, Lee "cshenk" > wrote in message ... > Storrmmee wrote in rec.food.cooking: > >> i know the steps to bottom posting the s/r program won't allow it, >> unless you want to cough up three grand for the system that will >> allow it i am stuck top posting, now proper caps is a matter of being >> able to reach the shift key with my fingers, somedays, and even some >> sentences, maybe, other times no, that i wish i could change but its >> a matter of how the joints are doing. >> >> i ws so thrilled when i first installed thunderbird, it had that >> little check mark that said, always post at bottom great... i set it >> all up, s/r worked perfectlu through set up and then i opened a >> message... total lock up no reading, i tink newer versions of what i >> use to read with might work, but i am not serious enough about bottom >> posting to spend three grand, hope that makes sense, lee > > You may want to check. He's working th3e bombast. I don't mind if people go off into0 fantasy worlds, I just don't like it when they do it by picking on other people. Sheldon and Andy are obscene in the way they enjoy being cruel and filthy mouthed at others' expense. That's sociopathic ain anyone's textbook. Other than the sock puppets, who isn't real? We are not alike, but both of us are real. |

i think he is miffed because he isn't getting mch response right now, more
and more people are ignoring him, then when i called him on his hypocracy he again got his panties in a bunch, sad really as i suspect he has a lot to offer in cooking arena but not enough anymore for me to tolerat his pathetic behavior, blake said he was throwing in his lot with sheldlon, almost the same thing anymore, Lee "cshenk" > wrote in message ... > Sqwertz wrote in rec.food.cooking: > >> On Thu, 07 Jul 2011 19:26:15 -0500, cshenk wrote: >> >> > Storrmmee wrote in rec.food.cooking: >> > >> >> i am not sure if he was the only one or just one of several to >> >> suggest that fix, but the one he put in this thread is what ate >> both >> sets of software, in my case it just locked up the system and >> >> refiused to work, in hers it seemed to grab one of the programs >> that >> did pronouncing, its not worth bothering about, soon i will >> have to >> get a new system and i suspect that OE won't be usable, >> then there >> will be a whole new hunt, as for gramby she got a new >> system and has >> new stuff, still can't bottom post but her system >> is all fresh and >> new and she is getting like me using different >> s/rs for different >> things, i might email you when i get to >> getting a new system, Lee >> > >> > Ok!
