Yes. A nice deep, rich brown. Then spray paint the insides pink.

I would go with pea green on the inside and pink on the outside.

I don't know why it would. My cabinets are dark oak and they don't make
it look like a cave. Painting the walls dark might do that. IMO the
walls should be light in order to make it easier to see and to give it
the illusion of being larger.


My mother's condo had a galley kitchen. Someone had the bright idea of
putting a strip of mirror above the splash board. It did make it look
like there was more counter space and the kitchen looked bigger.... when
the counters were bare. When there was stuff going on in the kitchen it
also make it look like there was twice as much mess.

An all white kitchen is bland, but white cabinets can work if you if
you keep them clean - I'd go with a warm color on the walls.

maybe it depends on the size and layout of the kitchen. When I changed my
cabinets from dark brown to light oak, it made a huge difference. The
walls were and are white, but there is not much wall, mostly cabinets.

Fluorescent orange with hot pink flurescent dots and lime green
fluorescent stripes and camouflage brown slip covers for your
kitchen curtains. Maybe disco ball lighting rather than a crystal
chandelier. Perfect.........

Don't paint them. Painting wood is satanic.* Stain and
polyurethane instead.

*If you're going to paint wood, you might as well buy MDF
or plastic.

Gray colour is also best ,.
