After, posting I did search the web for "making your own syrup" all
required to have a maple tree in ones back yard. When I search for "fake
maple syrup" I found several sites. The key word that was alluded me was
"fake".

AND Thanks for the suggestion for making my own. Something I did not think
off and it looks simple to make.
