Default Vanilla ice cream - redux

I made another batch today - same recipe as on the 8th but I used only
one vanilla bean. It's nice. Better than the over-vanillaed batch last
time.

Thank you just SO much for reporting back. I've seen AB's vanilla bean
demonstrations and have toyed with trying them - but - they are expensive.
So are the ingredients for ice cream. May be best for me to stick with nice
Penzey's vanilla. I too have 'over' vanillaed and that has such a nasty
surprise / disappointing result. Polly
