Slice one avocado in half and remove pit. Combine cocktail shrimp with
cocktail sauce and add a little horseradish if you like it hotter. Fill avo's with shrimp mix and and sprinkle on a little pepper and salt. I like to put the avo's in the fridge for about an hour ahead of time. Tasty and I don't care what Andy thinks. |

Hey, I would try it. In a restaurant once, I had crawfish etouffee that was served over an avocado half that was deep fried. It was different, but good. Becca |

How many years ago did this happen? I haven't seen much/any activity over in alt.cooking-chat recently, this certainly this isn't a current topic. I like the sound of the menu though. It would be a great home cooked meal. Perhaps he can repost the recipes in rfc. Then we can see what you're complaining about and debate the merits here. -- I love cooking with wine. He's not responsible for the quality of the ingredients you bought or the way you followed the recipe. What do you think can be changed so that *you* would like it? Add something, remove something, change cooking times? What? -- I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food. |
