There's a whole group of nut trees that do that. Butternut and such.
The usual theory is to keep squirrels away from nut trees you plant a
ring of oaks then an empty space then the nut trees. I suggest dogs in
the empty space. It would take a very big place to pull that off.

I wish I could have brought one or the other back, plus some cheeses,
but not allowed to Damn Customs...
