Pacific Northwest: Portland, Seattle, and British Columbia. (I'm in British
Columbia right now, but there has been no sign of Chester's crack legal team, who should have been monitoring the border 24 hours a day waiting to nab me at entry.) The food all along the way has been fantastic, from the food carts in Portland to the fusion cuisine here in Victoria. Since this isn't rec.food.restaurants, I won't belabor the dining specifics, but the vacation is the reason my posting here has been so limited. Bob |

I wouldn't go announcing that name here in the Pacific Northwest. Here's why. http://allergy.hyperboards.com/index.php Scroll down. He's the administrator. |

I didn't see anything on the link which pertained to anything I mentioned. Bob |

OTOH, I second the recommendation of spending a bunch of time in Victoria. Several times, we have stayed at the Inn at Laurel Point in Victoria. I don't know how expensive they may have gotten recently, we'd probably decide it's too much of a splurge these days. The rooms have a westerly facing water view, and we were once there when Mercury was an evening star. Most splendid. Steve |
