Epicurious.com is advertizing in their Epicurious Shop a "Fennel
Braiser" for only $204.95 :-) I can't imagine how I have got by all
these years without one.

No! That's the 3.5 quart model. Get the
5 quart model for only $50 more.

In addition, epicurious' price tags are nearly always higher in cost
than any other vendor, perhaps with the exception of Williams-Sonoma
maybe(?). But then again, it's also a 'Le Crueset' item which seems to
always command the higher price tag no matter the source. JMO :>

ROFL! To think we've lived this long without a Fennel Braiser. Tell you
what, I've gone without fennel my entire life. And I've got no plans to use
fennel any time soon. Maybe I'm missing something great. If so, just gotta
say I missed it

Oh no! I've already got the butternut and eggplant
brasiers, and fennel is on order. You're saying
they're all the same thing?

LOL. Really howling. Thank you for a belly laugh. It's supposed to be
good for our blood pressure. Mine ought to be just fine now. You're really
good. Polly

Sqwertz must have been pulling your leg.
I also have the avocado rotissiere, and
it does a great job on avocados.
