You really must be a very sarcastic person, as I only found the cooking group just this week, and have noticed most of your posts are of a "snippy" nature. Do you ever offer advice without putting the person down in negative manner? Just asking! <shrug> FYI winning blue ribbons has nothing to do with asking for a T&T chocolate chip cookie that is chewy in texture, instead of hard and crisp, or light and fragile. I never said my cookies crumbled. I won a blue ribbon on my filled mincemeat cookies and also my fresh orange frosted cookies. I have been baking cookies since I was in grade school with great results, but for some reason the last few times I made CC Cookies I was disappointed because they didn't seem to be the exact texture I wanted them to be, but I know that many products have changed their ingredients too, as Crisco is a lot "greasier" feeling on my hands as I remembered it to be, and I've had better results with certain brands of butter than others also, which makes a big difference in any type of baking. only until your postings become un entertaining, when you quit being funny
there is no requirement to reading your posts, you contrary to your opinion of yourself are such a small part of the group that reading you or not changes the value of reading here only a small bit, and since i don't read here to laugh at people, you are of no value, except that right now i am extremely bored, Lee "ItsJoanNotJoann" > wrote in message ... Ha, ha, ha...as if. You sound a lot like the *web tv'er* that came from the web tv group and started ragging on Judy in the AI group last season. Cheri |

this is an excellent group, and there are a LOT of nice people here, you
will eventually over time, as you have already noticed with some posters, find a pattern of posting, this is a very valuable tool due to th e volume of postings, simply use the kf button when someone gets to annoying/vulgar or disgusting, keeps the experience cleaner and more on topic, although i must admit in the interest of full disclosure, there a few i don't block because they are simply to silly and entertaining to block.. i find it fascinating that when someone disagrees with your opinion, and
thats all it is, that you immediately resort to vulgarity as in your response to me, or personal attacks as in this response to judy, in case you hadn't noticed, this group is to voice opinions and discus specific problems about specific cooking situations, i am sorry this is stressing you to the point of attack, for someone so sure of your opinions it might be nice if you at least restrained yourself from vulgarity and personal attacks as you know neither one of us or what our lives are about... and if you respond that you have read enough to make inferences... i could then do so but mine about you would be almost as rude as what you have just posted and you/your opinions aren't worth lowering myself to that level, Lee "ItsJoanNotJoann" > wrote in message ... Storrmee's posts don't correctly show attributions, and it wasn't her that posted what you quoted. I understand the mistake though. I often slip right past Lee's top posted message, and while I like reading her, it's too much trouble to scroll back up most of the time. |
