Don't know if it's possible to create a 700 degree pizza oven at home?? Too low a temp produces a less than browned crust, and too much inner dryness. Greg |

I know it's weird, but they work better than fresh mushrooms and add a meaty dimension to the taste. I've had artichoke hearts on a Papa Murphy's pizza before and that was good... I think [canned] mushrooms, black olives, and fresh red bell peppers, and a little raw onion or diced Roma tomatoes, would make a good combination. Let the mushrooms and olives carry the weight, and the other toppings be more of a garnish and to freshen it up a little. Seaweed (Kambu) might be good. If it doesn't need to be strictly vegetarian, add some anchovy to the sauce. HTH, Bob |

You just described three of the worst pizzas in the world, which explains why you don't like it. My favorite pizza has only stracchino cheese, olive oil and fresh rucola on it. It cannot be delivered from anywhere but a wood burning oven nearish to my table. Homemade pizza is good and healthy if you don't load it, but you need to make the crust dough at least 12 hours in advance and raise it in the fridge. If you make a batch and take out some every day, you willo find it gets tastier each day. |

A place in town does a good job of it. At home, I tend to make a more traditional thin crust. |

A place in town does a good job of it. There was a place in the inner city of Chicago that made those. It was a bakery and they made them in the morning and they went in the glass cases just like other baked goods did. When they sold out that was it for the day. By 1-2 pm they were gone. The ladies that worked there were all at least 60+ and worked their ass off. I did a one year gig in that neighborhood and spent plenty of money at that bakery. Lou |

Knowing all that it's you, JewDee JewDee JewDee, whose behavior needs to change, grow thicker skin and a sense of humor, look before you leap, and STFU about judging others lest you be judged, if you can't take the heat you'd best depart this kitchen... because none of the regular posters here are going to mend their ways to suit the likes of a newbie like you... to date you've posted absolutely nothing of any redeeming value (I seriously doubt you ever will), you've done nothing but moan and complain making you an obnoxious pinhead... and if you're vying for the position of Queen Know Nothing Bitch you'll need to slither to the end of that long line and *assume the position*. because I for one am going derive great pleasure from assaulting your ignoranus posterior at every opportunity... I can use some fresh meat! LOL-LOL http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/fo...of-Veal-107600 Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. . . |

No fancy topping, wood fired, takes only a couple of minutes to cook, and far superior than any other pizzas. Toping is simple, a bit of tomato, basel. Mozzarella, or perhaps prosciutto or a few other things. nothing like Ham and pineapple etc. Crust is more thin than thick and the whole thing melts in your mouth. |

![]() Brooklyn1, from every post I've read of yours here, you are nothing but a vile, uncouth, nasty, ugly person...inside and out. You seem to delight in bashing many of the posters, making you look like a 1st class donkey-hole, and what you contribute here, AFAICS, is a bunch of crap comments that you rattle off. You would do everyone a favor, to just drop off the face of the earth. What good contributions do you make here anyway? You must be a very miserable, unhappy man with a lonely, sad life, as for sure I don't know how anyone could stand to ever be around you, if you are as you appear here, in real life! You are indeed a slime ball, who evidentially crawled out from some rock, just to come here and insult these fine people. I get it, I'm the "new kid on the block", and someone new to bash, but I've had 6 years experience posting in Usenet groups, so my skin is plenty thick, but it's doubtful it's as thick as your skull. Now....big man, if you want to dish it out, I'll give it right back to you...in spades, as the useless piece of humanity you seem to be. Such as shame you chose to be such a unlikeable person!!! Judy (your worst enemy!) |
