Steve has no friends who want to chat with him and that's what his problem is (he can chat to high heaven on FB but apparently he doesn't). Why is posting a chat notice such a problem for you? If you see it a day later, it means you weren't reading rfc and you weren't available to chat. So what? It's no skin off your nose. Chat is open to (almost) everyone and it's nice to see new faces there, something that would never happen with a private (in crowd only) mailing list. -- You are what you eat, so avoid fruitcake and nuts. |
