Andy, I play this on classical guitar. A friend has a iTunes channel
(or something like that) where he's posted a few things I've recorded.
I'll record myself playing this, get him to post it, and reply to this
thread with a link when it's done.

BTW, I prefer the Yo-Yo-Ma recording:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIM1qT0sqKM

is but one of several you can find on YouTube.

How is starting an off-topic thread with "OT:" in the subject trolling?

Absolutely sublime music.

Try the one by Lynn Harrell; it's by far my favorite.

Ob Food: I can listen to it while I'm cooking, as long as the recipe is
fairly simple ...

Recorded after our message exchange here last night, roughly 11:30 PM or
so. You'll need a Google ID to see it. My neighbor said something
about his iTunes channel going away in a few months so he's going to put
it somewhere else but I don't know when.

The predicated demise of Usenet - a favorite Usenet subject. Usenet has
always been unmoderated and always had off-topic postings. Don't read
if you don't wish.

I'm speechless. Next you're going to tell us that your private parts
are bigger than mine, or something like that.

Please try to have a sense of humor. Every one of us here is fortunate
to not have to worry about having enough food to eat. Everything else
pales in comparison to that fact, IMHO. We're all having a fine time
talking about cooking most of the time.

Thank you. That video is lovely. I'm going to share that link with
my wife.

Another Bach cello piece by our guy:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLo04SeJ7WY
http://www.stlsymphony.org/musicians...daniel-lee.htm

Our seats are in the first row (the cheapest seats in the hall), so
Danny is never more than 15'-20' away. He might well be the most
popular member of our orchestra.

Her talent is wasted of that electric thing with crappy drums. Maybe
it's an outreach to the non-classical listening masses at the mall,
but that drum stuff ruined it.

He's an attention needy person and eats fast food all the time, so has
nothing to contribute to a cooking group except whining.

The expression originated as an ethnic slur against the Gypsy. I
stopped using it when I learned that.

I can't speak to the attention part, but he's far from a fast food
eater, at least not exclusively. He seems like an adventurous cook/food
preparer to me.

I very much enjoyed some music I might not have listened to otherwise.
I'm not a classical fan, though back in the day when I played guitar, I
did play some classical. It was refreshing to see and hear both guitar
and violin classical music solos, and the resulting classic rock solos
on both, especially on the violin.
