I do not have an "Options" top level menu selection. I have a "Tools- >Options" that opens up a dialog box with a zillion different things, including a "Display->Fonts" option, which only allows me to change the font size on "Header bars...", "Browser..." and "Status Bar...", none of which affect the font size in the message headers or the message content "Desks"! I just checked, all my fonts are set to Comic Sans 12 pt bold, works for me. I don't use many of the features that Agent offers. I save nothing, soon as I'm done reading each down load I delete everything. |

I have "Free Agent: (you want that I should take a screen shot and show you?) version 3.3/32.846 . I have the free version with none of the full version options like spell check, etc. I saw something once that said I could get a 30 day trial of the full version, but opted to retain the Free Agent. And I told you, the font size change options I have do NOT change the font size of the things I want to change the font size of. Only of title bars and crap like that (which I don't care about.) Look for Variable-Pitch Body and Fixed-Pitch Body. I don't do "desks". Ver 3.3 came with "desks" > Take a screen shot and post with tinypic.http://oi43.tinypic.com/wrj6nc.jpg Immaterial now, I have my Free Agent set up the way I like. Except I'd love to sort message headers latest-first, but I have to get the full paid version to do that, and I don't want it that bad. Thanks for your help. It's always that one widget out of a zillion that makes thing work. That's why GUI is no better than command line really. At it's inception, GUI was supposed to simplify things because you could just point and click rather than have to remember a bunch of command line options. But they the software developers put all the command line options into GUI options, plus because it *is* GUI, that added a zillion more options! So now we have a dozen different top level menu selections, most of which have sub-menus, and most of which then get you to dialog boxes with control buttons, switches, tabs, embedded directory-type selections... It's all just a mess! :-( John Kuthe... |

That time period is determined by the newsgroup concerned. Some go after the default, some 2 or 3 months later. Really depends on the relative interest level and volume of traffic. For example, RFC is on 60 days purely because of the sheer volume of posts to the group. -- Krypsis |
