We had a sweet-potato flan using this recipe:

There turned out to be far too much caramel and custard for the 9-by-2-inch
round cake pan stated. But it was delicious anyway.


Later in the evening we enjoyed Mexican Chocolate Chile ice cream made using

That was wonderful too. (I added a splash of Grand Marnier to mine.)
