Heh. I was so tired of the annual antics of dinner companions that this
year I just blew the whole thing off. Last year was the pits. So I made a
lovely soup and just stayed home and enjoyed all the free Dish channels.

It may become a new tradition.

The little local newspaper did pictures and covered the Black Friday sales
trauma. In an interview with the sheriff, he said that there was very
little trouble at the sales - but quite a few 'domestic' calls. "Some
families just don't need to get together," he said. Polly

Senate bean, my favorite bean soup. Plus a lettuce free salad with a garlic
vinaigrette. And champagne, lots of bubbly.

Simple is often the best. I am making this soup again tomorrow and this
time I am making salt pork cracklings for a topping. Should be divine.

Yes, I'm sure it will be. I love bean soup.
