Default Gum drops

There's nothing sadder than watching an old lady down a whole box of Dots
candy.
Whatever happened to Jelly babys, or Jujubes?

Those are not gum drops and why is it sad? Never heard of Jelly babys but
AFAIK Jujubes are still being made. Hell on the teeth though.

What old lady? There's nothing sad about eating gum drops, all those
are happy candies, I love gum drops and all the rest of those chewy
fat free candies; Twizzlers, jelly beans, oh, I love Chuckles! And
since I'm a licorice maven I prefer Black Crows to Dots. Unfortunately
the wimpy PC faggots dropped the Black so today they are called just
"Crows". Here is the original:

My former dentist said they would give Jujubes to patients to chew on
when they wanted to remove a crown. He said it worked every time.
That being said I've never had or even seen them and I always thought
he was saying ju-ju's.

I'm more into fruit slices than Chuckles.

But those fruit slices must have a ton of sugar.

They are candy, of course they are mostly sugar.

I had them as a child. But worse still was some sugar free candies that my
parents bought. They were not quite a jelly and not quite a hard candy.
You could chew and chew and they would move from tooth to tooth but you
could never bite through them. Jujubes taste good but the texture is bad.

I've never heard of those two candies, and I don't care for Dots, but do
like gumdrops, but why in the heck is it so hard just to find the
regular red/green ones at Christmas time?? Most of them are Spice Drops
and I can't stand those. I did find some regular ones by the Brach co.
and I don't care for their chocolate candy, but am hoping I will like
these, as every year I make Gumdrop Cookies for the holidays, but am
still hoping to find regular ones by a different candy maker.

I also can't find the MINT M & M's this year, and my family loves
cookies from them for Christmas too. I hate it when suddenly the stores
quit handling certain things...such as blanched whole almonds. Son
ordered me 2 lbs. online and had them shipped to me.

I like Dots okay but only certain flavors of gumdrops. I don't like the
spice ones. I've found mint M & Ms everywhere but they are with the
Christmas candies. I've had a couple of coupons for them.

Exactly! After I began making Christmas Candy, I began being very
suspicious of sugarless candy, since most of the candy I was making
consisted of sugar. If not sugar, then what was I putting in my mouth
when I ate a piece of sugarless candy? ;-)

I like all flavors of gum drops, the spice flavored ones are very
good. I really love gummy bears/worms. I love those giant gum drops
best, for me I think it's really the texture I love, like giant sweet
turgid nipples.

Me as well.

Brach's seems to make good gelled candies. Maybe it's because the
ingredients are cheaper.

Jolly Ranchers makes great hard candy, but I can't stand anything else they
make.

Some people love mint chocolate. Some people hate it. I once went through a
phase where I eschewed mint chocolate.
