I can assure you Bryan does not treat his wife as he behaves here. He
dotes on his wife very much.

Trap Neuter Release. Shira was pretty young when we first got
together, but not THAT young. I wish that more folks would leave
their FB profiles open. I can see why celebrities or especially
attractive young women use privacy settings, but damn, I don't put
anything online that I have a problem with *anyone* seeing. It's
funny, but B really is her middle initial. She's a sweet lady, and
was a doll when she was young. She was friends (platonic) with Joey
Ramone, and used to be the girlfriend of the Ramones tour manager and
author, Monte Melnick. Now she's obsessed with cat rescue. I'm
babbling.

That's very true. I'm crazy about her. Of course, according to you,
I'm just plain crazy anyway. ;- )

Yes she was Bryan, and Shira is still a very attractive woman IMHO.
And she's always been as cat girl. After all, Kee was basically her
cat that lived at our apartment.

Not a day goes by when I ride by the old place at 608 Kingsland
(#405!) that I don't look up and think "Man, back in the day...whatta
place!" And I ride my bicycle by there frequently, riding to the
grocery store. Cloud, Novelty and Kato Window Studios! And it's where
the Cheep Effects were born too! :-)

I don't find her physically attractive anymore, but I do still love
her.
She is good people. I was heartbroken when she left me, and even felt
angry with her, but it all turned out for the best that she did. It
is nice that we have stayed friends via telephone, then internet, and
nice that Betsy never felt threatened by that. Betsy is so sweet.
Time for backrubs for her. This post surgery thing is hard for her.
She was just saying that the itchiness of the percocet seems worse
than the pain. Then there's going to be the chemo...

Just another example if your fallacious black and white/all or nothing
thinking, Bryan? ;-) You find *nothing* about her attractive,
therefore you find her wholly repulsive?

Do you see the fallacy of your positions like this?

If you did that then somebody should pull your balls out with pliers
before you reproduce.

that is where the clippers and a good scratching pole come in, most advocate
clipping on a regular schedule, and of course playing with the kitten claws
to get them used to having their paws/claws messed with, because we have a
lot of claws to clip, and NONE of them care for the activity, they get
clipped when the happy pawing is uncomfortable/a claw can be heard catching
in the carpet, or one of us notice the two with fish hook claws walking odd,

My cat that lived to be well over 20 years old ate Purina One Senior Cat
formula. She got sick from canned food. The did have crystals at one
time, when she was maybe 5 or 6 and she was on Friskies. We switched her
to Purina and she was fine.

My Poodles thrived on Purina One.

This Poodle, Mickey Charles, the Toy, however, is prone to the brown
tear stains so we have him on Blue Buffalo chicken and rice formula that
contains no wheat, soy or corn and no artificial colors and flavors. The
streaks have gone away. He seems to enjoy the new food.

Default OT - For the Cat Experts - back to the cat

Can we get back to the cat, please?

He hit over one pound today. He was barely half a pound on the day
before Thanksgiving when we took him home. He seems to be thriving,
growing, playing and doing everything a little cat does, but eating solids.

We tried making a gruel and even putting it into his bottle but he is
insulted by our efforts. You wouldn't believe the looks we get.

I made the last batch of formula today and added extra water so that he
won't be as satisfied. I actually force fed him tiny bits of turkey
canned kitten food and he was able to "process" it just fine. There is
nothing wrong with his swallowing.

I'm not that sure about his ability to lap. He hasn't a clue what to do
with water in a dish. I put his little face in it and he put his little
paw in it and jumped a mile. He is now in his bed sulking about the
mistreatment.

I can't keep this cat and I have to make him adoptable. Short of cutting
his formula to make him hungry, I'm at a loss.

since he seems to have a lapping issue you might have no choice but to cut
his food in the way of formula, but not too much, if he isn't reacting to
the water he is having a lapping issue, you might try real people baby food,
get turkey or lamb and let it be room temp or a little warmer, nothing with
onions but the lamb and turkey are smelly enough to maybe interest, ninty
percent of a cats appetite is being attracted to what they smell, if he
doesn't smell well or is congested that will slow it down. its good news he
can process it, that removes a lot of potentail health issues. focus on his
sense of smell and if you can get a look in his mouth see if it is mishapen
or defective in any way, if you can do that and don't see anything you will
be sure that its just a learning curve, good luck and keep us updated, Lee

this was specificall the indoor formula that came out a few years ago not
the regular or sr formula one, this specific formula evidentally didn't do
as well as they thought it would, vet said she had several and mostly males
that withen two/four weeks developed crystals, she hasn't even ever dissed
