The AlmondCherry is on the foreground, and the MangoCashew in the background. I was gonna make a little more AlmondCherry, but we see how THAT worked out!! ;-) Oh, and as the CandyMaker, I got to eat the rubber scraper after mushing the MangoCashews into and around in the 65% Fair Trade Organic Dark Chocolate from Chocoley.com, as as head Oopma in the house, I declare it DELICIOUS!!! :-) John Kuthe... |

One of the benefits of being an Oompa! You ALWAYS get to lick the beater, just before you wash up! :-) John Kuthe... |

Sounds like a couple of great combinations. I usually go for blueberry and orange, but I don't think I'd like blueberries in chocolate. W. Pooh (AKA Winnie P.) |

Pooh (AKA Winnie P.) I should have dehydrated the mangoes a LOT more than I did. But they are such wet suckers, lemme tell ya! ;-) Delicious, but soggy for candy! John Kuthe... |

Last year I had to dehydrate my own pineapple because the only commercially available dehydrated pineapple had a bunch of sugar on/in it. I like making these fruit/nut barks, and they are really pretty easy to make. Maybe this can be the key to me going commercial with my candy making! I get a chocolate tempering machine, a food dehydrator and make a whole munch of different fruit/nut barks and sell them! It's not rocket surgery, just use really good real chocolate and real yummy fruits! Hmmmmm! :-) John Kuthe... |
