Default Living and Cooking in France

Hello,

I am a chef who has moved from the UK to the South of France where I have been living for the past three years. I have recently decided to start a blog outlining my adventures in french food. I thought a few people on this forum might be interested in reading it and therefore have posted the link below. Please click to read and sign up to follow my blog updates.

North by Sud-Ouest

Many Thanks!

On his blog under "about me" he says, "a cook, working in a
charcuterie in South-West France."

I know, but someone what calls him/her self a chef needs to be in
charge of something. The word chef means chief. For example Chef
Garde Manger is someone who is in charge of that section, basically a
cold section doing mirrors, fat sculptures etc. Chef Saucier, someone
who is in charge of the sauce station.

Chemo is too stupid to understand the simple concept of "chef"

No, I understand the word but it's obvious that the OP is really a
cook and not a chef or didn't you read the blog?
