Default Squash is/are good

Some kind soul here suggested that baby food squash was a helpful binder to
replace eggs or mayonnaise. I'm thinking it was a recent meatloaf
discussion.
Instead of the half cup of mayonnaise that my crab cake recipe calls
for, I substituted a little tub of Gerber strained squash for most of the
mayo. The results are grand; absolutely no difference in the taste. What a
wonderful idea! Thank you so much. Polly
