You gotta be kidding, no fat cap, can't tell anything about "cooked to
perfection" without seeing *inside*... and that tiny thingie... my
dick is bigger. And again with the frikin' hacked to compost cold
veggies on the same plate. sheesh

About the only keyboard shortcuts I use are 'K' then '0' for permanent
killfile members (have used that quite a bit!!!), and Ctrl C & V after
I've used the mouse to highlight what I want copied.

Oh, and F8 to clear the folder of all messages (in Xnews) or F5 to get
new posts, or Ctrl F5 to dig back aways.

Now I've just bought an Asus Tablet, so my finger does the walking
across the screen..... which I have to clean every night after I shut it
down!!

If you kept your fingers out of diggers' assholes, you'd have less of a
problem with that....of course, you wouldn't get paid the full five
dollars, either.

I'm not a programmer, but I do prefer hot keys. Why reach over to a
mouse when I can just hit a key combo where my hand already rests?

Probably goes back to when I did not have a mouse on my 8088 computer.

I remember having a green screen computer (XT?)..... that when you wanted
to hook onto the 'brand new' Internet, you had to manually enter ATDT and
then the phone number!!

That was 1990.

No mouses back then.

I use Excel a lot, there are numerous hotkeys. They are a lot faster
(once you remeber them) and put less strain on my hands and forearms.

Advanced Excel trainers usually give you a list of hotkeys and
strongly suggest using them.

I like Excel, but I use it in a pretty limited way... paste in some
numbers and plot.

I can't imagine actually using it to do calculations. But if so,
then yes you'd need some sort of shortcut.

What's the Word mouse sequence for converting a block of text from all
upper-case to all lower-case?

I use Word 2010 and I have no idea what you mean by "the ribbon."

Wait: Is "the ribbon" the array of controls at the top of the window?
The menu items? Why on earth would it be called a "ribbon"?
