Default Kretchmar ham! YUM!! And only $2.19/lb at Schnucks!!!

I wasn't planning on it, but when I rode over to Schnucks the other
day here in STL they had whole boneless Kretchmar hams on sale for
$2.19/lb, sliced free. So I picked one up and had 'em slice it for me.

MmmmmMMMMM! It's better in my Monk's Breakfast of beans and rice than
the Straub's ham was, at twice the price!! Good smokey flavor and not
overly sweet like the Straub's ham was.

I wish I had a freezer. I'd buy 'em all and freeze 'em! Somebody had a
good day on the smoker!

I'm not "loading up on it" in any one portion. And I'm not obsessed
with micromanaging my foods like Bryan is. I eat what I like, in
wisely moderate amounts. And I exercise! Up to 40 mins a day on my
NordicTrack and getting my HR up to about 140 or so! Good stuff!

Have a nice day Bull! I am! :-)

Kretchmar makes hams? My mom used to buy their wheat germ.

I've always heard you shouldn't freeze cured meat, or freeze it only
for a short time.
