At least it's not those shitty mashed potatoes.

If you didn't try them for the flavour, you have no right to comment like
that.

The samples you sent out for flavor sampling still haven't arrived, so
that left the pictures alone to judge by.

If you don't want your food pics judged by appearance, don't post them.

Yes, admittedly, it didn't look very appertizing in the saucepan,
however... if you were to make up your mind wholly and soley on what
something looks like in a pan, then you'd have a very insular, very
pedestrian life.

The potato that you made comment on was smooth, creamy, and *very* tasty.

It was also something that I could eat quite a bit of, which I did.

One important point to remember..... not *everyone* in the world eats the
same food as you, and everyone has different tastes. Your uninformed
comments only make you look like the rest of the morons on here, who, at
the end of the day, are showing how immature and bigotted they are.

Are you a bigot?

Or are you mature enough to say "Hey, whatever floats your boat" ??

BTW, you talk about "judging" peoples food pics. This group is about food,
the cooking thereof, and the eating of it, it's not a contest so no
'judges' are required. You are stood down.

You keep forgetting that the only way people can come to any judgement
on what you post is by your words (oft proven to be lies) and your
deeds, in these cases shown as pictures of your cooking. Given that you
are prone to lies, your pictures may not even be of your works.
>
> The potato that you made comment on was smooth, creamy, and *very* tasty.

We have only your word for that and that has proven to be more than a
little shaky!

The pics you posted showed very lumpy mash covered by what could best be
described as glop. No doubt the glop was intentional to cover the
evidence of the lumpy mash.

You had to eat ALL of it as no one else would (or could!).

The only people I ever hear making "not everyone in the world .... "
kinds of excuses are attempting to cover up the fact that they screwed
up. My neighbour is prone to usage of the phrase when he makes a comment
and the responses are not to his liking. If you're not prepared for the
gamut of possible responses, don't put your views (or pics) foreward for
discussion.

If our comments are "uninformed" as you say, then it seems you are
wasting your time writing and posting pics of your cooking escapades as
they are all we have to go on. Someone suggested you provide samples to
all and sundry on RFC so they can be "suitably informed". Don't bother!
As any good chef knows, proper presentation of a meal is the start of a
fine dining experience. Your presentation sucks so we will automatically
have much lower expectations.

That would be you!

See above.

The way you run it, it IS a contest where you are always saying "Hey,
look at me!!! look at me!!!" Well, other posters did look at you, did
judge your works and did find you wanting. Get over it or better yet,
get used to it as you will get a lot more negative criticism in future.

Which is why I asked about any pending tasting samples, about which you
consistently demur. I'm left with no option but to use the only venue
left, appearance, which was dreadful.

> The potato that you made comment on was smooth, creamy, and *very* tasty.

Glad for ya, sport! Unfortunately, your assertion is unprovable.

> It was also something that I could eat quite a bit of, which I did.

I've seen people eat some strange things in my time, so your brag may be
a bit empty.

Nothing points up immaturity and bigotry like your comment right there.

> Are you a bigot?

You're bigoted enough for both of us, hon.

> Or are you mature enough to say "Hey, whatever floats your boat" ??

Unlike you, yes, I am! I don't understand why you're taking this so hard.

I didn't mention judging first. You did.

Yes, this group is about food, the cooking thereof, and the eating of
it. Eating is done with the eyes. Presentation is everything. The pic of
those potatoes that you ever so proudly provided--and believe me, we
could tell you were beaming and busting your buttons--made them look
like lumpy pallid pudding. Those potatoes were unappetizing and dreadful
to look at. If you hadn't told us they were mashed potatoes, we probably
wouldn't have been able to identify what it was at all. Sorry you can't
deal with it.

it seems you have just learned the word 'bigot' this week.
>Or are you mature enough to say "Hey, whatever floats your boat" ??

are you mature enough to turn the other cheek or just plain not worry
about it? NO. instead you start new threads trying to prove how small
the serving is. but thats not enough for you either, you then stalk
her wherever she posts to blather on about the same thing there too!
lmao just get over it!!!!!!!!!

Yes, if you like chopped tomatoes with partial stems
attached. Looks like he just grabbed a cleaver and went
berserk on the veggies.
