My husband would eat that amount of food and he weights 152 lbs.

He's not a big eater either?

That is a bread and butter plate/side plate.

The actual fish fillets are in this pic, posted in another thread......

The top one, and the bottom right one.

When you consider that I got 4 pieces of fillet out of the one large
fillet.....

Is he from SE Asia? I know some Thai and Viet guys who are short and
slight, and they eat like 2500 calories a day. I wonder if they have
some fabulous digestive trait that helps them ignore fats or carbs.

Had a fellow from Thailand over to dinner this evening. We were
discussing the Thai diet which is similar in many way to the Vietnamese
diet. Seems that a diet more focused on noodles will keep one rather
thin. Rice can tend to put the kilos on but it doesn't seem to affect
most Thai and Vietnamese people I know.

We had a very western style meal this evening centred on a Tbone steak
with baked potato and salad. An unusual combination but he requested it.
A meal recalled from a time 20 years ago when he lived in Australia.
sorry, no pics - use your imagination!
