Default The Un-Answered Question

I had asked this once, but someone hijacked it off to some other topic
and I never got an answer so here I go again while I'm thinking about
hamburgers: is there anyone here who has ever had a Rich Boy hamburger
from a Roakes restaurant in Oregon and know or can remember how it's
made? If I remember right it was hamburger on french bread and had
cheese, but I don't remember all what else--, This was probably the
best burger in PDX untill the place on 82nd burned to the ground.

Geez, if the place burned down in '82 then I'm betting all the recipes
are long gone.

The place burned down about ... seven, eight... years ago but there's
still two others in the Roakes chain though that one was the best of
them. I was away on vacation and come back to find that my favorite
hamburger joint was gone. ;-(

Oh, many thanks! But I could've sworn it was on french bread and not
sourdough (which I hate). :-)

Apparently you liked this hamburger on sourdough... otherwise you wouldn't
be thinking about it 8-9 years later

I hate sourdough, but with some good meat and some french bread, one
would have the next to perfect hamburger; well, actually the Rich Boy
was the next to perfect cheeseburger.
