Default How many hot dogs (with buns) can you eat in 10 minutes

20? 50?
Try 68; = 21,000 calories
That's some outstanding eating
I used to have a humongous appetite when I was young and doing field
work, but I could never do that; maybe 20 dogs tops. And that's a
maybe. I'd have to be seriously motivated to do 20 dogs. I'd have to
be nuts to try for 50...

Capping a week when a new scientific report concluded that Americans
were eating more, and more frequently, it took 10 minutes and 62 hot
dogs for Joey Chestnut to win his fifth consecutive Nathan's Famous
Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island, N.Y.

Retaining the Mustard Belt once again, Chestnut of San Jose, Calif.,
has dominated the competition. He set the all-time record in 2009,
downing 68 hot dogs and buns, the equivalent of 21,000 calories, in 10
minutes.

The crappy refined flour commercial buns in that amount will probably
clog your digestive system for a week - might as well swallow
wallpaper paste.

I always wondered how all those skinny people can win eating contests;
then I read somewhere that the people who win those contests have
stomachs that are placed lower than normal people's are. I guess it's
not constricted by the rib cage.

--Free!" You could eat say five. But they're free!
