Tried one last night for the first time....... the SO and I both agreed it
would have to be one of the worst chocolate bars we have ever tried. Now I have to find some poor sucker to give the rest away to. The flavour was insipd, with overtones of........ God only knows.... anbd I don't want to open a second one to try it again to try and describe it. I ended up throwing the last 4 squares of the bar into the trash. -- Peter Tasmania Australia |

You have no "troops" and you didn't even buy them in the first place. They were sent to the offices as a thank you, not meant for you to take home for you and your fat-assed wife to pig out on last night. |

Once people become accustomed to dark chocolate many will no longer find milk chocolate acceptable regardless of brand... there is nothing wrong with Hershey's milk chocolate, there is something wrong with the TIADers that they can't taste the difference between dark and milk chocolate. The Hershey bar is still internationally synonymous with the chocolate bar. And don't yoose Euros get too cocky, during WWll any of yer wimmen would spread her legs for any GI with a Hershey bar. When I was in Europe any Italian broad would spread her legs for a pack of Camels... for two packs of Camels she'd sell her 12 year old daughter. >I agree with the Special Dark. Now they have that new Air Delight. >Great, replace chocolate with air bubbles and charge the same price. >And people think it's something special. You're an idiot... those bars are sold by weight... there is no cheating. If you don't like airy chocolate don't buy it. But many confections incorporate air and many people like it that way or it would not be made that way... lots of folks prefer a chocolate shake to plain chocolate milk. The shake is the same amount of product in a larger cup to accomodate the air. Hershey's airy chocolate is a larger bar. |

Shelleys cranks up his Crock-o-Crap generator and plops a big,
stinking pile on RFC. > Once people become accustomed to dark chocolate many will no longer > find milk chocolate acceptable regardless of brand. Quite right you are, Shelley. That's exactly what happened in Switzerland, France, England, Germany, Canada, and Russia. Not in China, though, because as everybody knows, China has the highest per-capita dairy consumption in the world. |

I took a bite of a Violet Crumble ("Vile Crumbled?") once, with the same results. I suppose you have to have grown up with them to find them tasty. Hershey's definitely has had a distinct taste; I always preferred the local Nestle products. |

Well....... the hue and cry that was made (as the new version tasted like crap) was *huge*. Public opinion won over, after sales plummeted, and they changed back to the original recipe. And Cadbury's Milk Chocolate is not too bad........ not as good as Lindt, but pretty good for a standby. -- Peter Tasmania Australia |

Did you send me a gift that I haven't acknowledged? Or are you *ass*uming that I got the chocolates as a gift? As usual, you let your innate prejudice blind you to anything but the completely blinkered view that your obsessive hatred of me allows you to maintain. > I'm sure they will have lots of commentary which you will happily > egg on and play right into. "I'm sure"?? The only thing that you can be sure of, is that you are a complete ******. > Of course, they wont have any idea at that > point that you knew how awful the chocolate was So you agree then....... Hershey's is a shit chocolate. Thank you for agreeing with me. At least you've got one thing right today, now you'll be able to sleep happy and contented tonight. > before you gave it to > them, but that makes the joke all the more meaningful for you, doesn't > it? Actually, it was a bit of an experiment. I know some of them will eat it just because it was given to them (free).... I'm more interested in the people who will come back and tell me they didn't like it. Then I know that *they* also have 'taste' and are discerning eaters. Now........ why don't you be a good little boy and actually contribute something worthwhile to the thread..... or will you be like the rest of the ******s, and just run off at the mouth, looking like a complete fool, when you reply to my every post with your inane drivel? -- Peter Tasmania Australia |

You can't help yourself, can you!! Did Petey really call the Bible a "fiction novel"? It's not a novel by any stretch. And some small amount of it is probably true. An accurate way to describe it would be a collection of highly embellished and mythologized accounts of events long past whose main purpose was to legitimize laws of human behavior. A novel? Really, Petey? That's doltish even for you. |
