Default Processed foods.

First off, you would be better off and more healthy if you stayed away
from processed foods....period.

That being said, did you know that the processed foods you eat are
made by only 10 companies?

Stay away from that stuff....it will kill you.

More like four companies: I do not snack on Band-Aids, and P&G has
been trying to divest itself of everything edible. That Coke sells
sugary beverages is well known, while candy and gum are not part of my
meal planning.

But what happened to Sara Lee, which makes both the bread for
sandwiches and the cold cuts to go inside?

Its been thirty years since I worked in the grocery business.
Consolidation was going on then and is still going on.
Its the American way to grow bigger...if anyone is to blame
it is the American government for not stopping these combines
using existing legislation or drafting new laws.

A former manager at a KFC restaurant in Oregon claims that the owner
of his franchise ordered employees to serve expired chicken and fired
those who refused. Also in unsettling chicken news: American Chicken
McNuggets have 2.5 times as much salt as British McNuggets.

Fanta Orange (courtesy of Coca-Cola) in the US and Britain contains
Aspartame. In Britain it's not labeled as diet; it's just plain old
Fanta.

In France, no Aspartame. France doesn't allow it.

Don't know why they left Sara Lee off that chart. It owns a TON of
sutff.

I don't care - I love Sara Lee products except the bread, which gets
old really fast.

I bought a chocolate cheesecake - "limited edition" (limited
production, I assume for Mother's Day) and it was fabulous. I love
the frozen coffee cakes and the croissants.

No, I'm not Bryan. I've just been avoiding most processed and pre
packaged 'convenience' foods for a while now. My body is happy about
it.
