Default Corn on the cob

I haven't eaten corn on the cob in years and since I got my braces off
in Nov, it hasn't been in season. It isn't *quite* in season yet here
in MD but I couldn't resist when I saw beautiful ears of white corn and
I'm noshing on two ears now. Wow. Very good corn! The sign didn't say
where it was from though.

Oh, congrats! How long did you have the braces? Seems like you
got them just yesterday.

I'm just not much of a veggie or fruit eater and have to make myself eat
them so I'm trying new things more now then ever. I like them, but most
of the time I go for easy and fast or ready made unless I'm in a cooking
mood. I'm trying to be in a cooking/creative mood with fresh fruit and
veggies since I can't be as active as I need to be.

I bought an ice cream maker so plan to use more fruit by making sorbets
and granitas subbing stevia. I found this web site that's looking
interesting for the granita recipes, especially for summer.

If you think eating that way that will give the benefit of eating
fresh fruit you must weigh 300 pounds.
