A friend asked if maybe she could line her lasagna pans with parchment
help with the usual cleanup mess. Think it would help? In metal or ceramic type baking dish? I recently made date-nut bread in a metal loaf pan, lined the bottom with parchment, and dumped the bread out with ease. |

For this I always line the entire pan with foil so as to be able to pull the "slab" of it out after refrigeration, leaving nothing at all to clean from the pan after baking. After refrigeration to set the dish well, I cut single portions to wrap each in saran-wrap, then in foil over the saran to freeze all in a large bag and therewith be able to defrost as I may care to. My experience with parchment liners has only been for baked goods. A bit OT, but I used to buy excellent excellent quality 50-sheet packs of parchment through King Arthur Flour for $19.95 each. Those sheets do quite well for three or more sheet-pans of cookies each. Now I have a box of 1000 sheets (that I paid under $50 for) that are better described as maximum three bakes each, and well worth the cost savings buy. ....Picky |

I would use that non-stick foil. |
