I hope this is the one. Just add oatmeal I guess. Tasted like Amish style.

CHRISTMAS TREE COOKIES MOM'S

Sift Together : 5 Cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt

Cream Together: 1 Cup Soft Shortening
2 Cups Sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla

Add 1 Cup Thick Sour Cream
Chill until easy to handle
Roll 1/8 inch Thick
Bake at 425

Makes 4 to 5 Dozen Trees
