If you love and occasionally cook Indian food as we do, the comedy "Today's
Special" will enchant you. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1153053/ It's a very funny comedy. One of the actresses is Madhur Jafrey, author of multiple cookbooks on Indian cooking. For the Mrs. and I it is a five star movie, a comedy you see rarely. I'm sure the food part is real, given Madhur Jafrey's part in the movie. We may watch it again. Kent |

Maybe I should do that then and save a DVD. -- Food is an important part of a balanced diet. |

It bores me to death, so I never watch it - but if you say it's worthwhile then it probably is. The only reason I prefer DVD's is because I can turn on closed captioning. -- Food is an important part of a balanced diet. |

It's been a while since we saw "Bend It Like Beckham," but IIRC, the ability to cook aloo gobi fits into the plot. The DVD extras include an aloo gobi cooking demonstration. |
