Default happy fathers day

I'm going to spend the afternoon playing cards with mine (along with my
sister and his wife). Possibly pinochle or 31... Then apparently to an
Italian restaurant. (Italian is LCD.) I hope they have eggplant parmesan!

I wonder if I can make zucchini parmesan. Got about 20 of them about to be
ready for harvesting in a few days... Can I chop them up and freeze? I
love zucchini in spaghetti sauce (or lightly diced on pizza)

A glut of zukes is best grilled; slice lengthwise, brush with oil,
season, and slap on the grill.

I acquired lots of zucchini several years ago. I made lasagne with them and
it was a big hit with me and friends that I shared it with. Use your
favorite lasagne recipe and just substitute the zucchini for the lasagne
noodles. YUM!

That sounds interesting! I will give it a try with Stubby. Will have to
slice him thin.

Went to my dad's to play cards. We were playing "oh, pshaw aka oh, hell"
this evening and it was the three card round. Trump was clubs... I was
dealt: A, K, Q --of clubs.

you can buy vegetable turner and turn the zucchini into "spaghetti" strands,
then a quick sauté.

here is an example

My son came for a visit and took me out for lunch. The bakery cafe is a
regular haunt of mine and the owner threw in Lentil soup with our curry
chicken wraps. They also serve organic ice cream and there was a buy one
get Dad's for free, so I had a strawberry frozen yogurt.

My wife bought some beef tenderloin steaks and fresh asparagus.
Problem is.... I am still full from lunch.
