Default Ketchup with Middle Eastern food?

Now that I have all the ingredients to make hummus, I don't really feel like
making any. But I'm sure I will soon so will wait for the mood to come
back. In the meantime, I did get a falafel plate from the Falafel House.
It's just a few feet from the alt video store. I got BB s4 and BSG s2.0...
Something odd I noticed on the way out, the Falafel House had Heinz Ketchup
on every one of the tables.

yes, the falafel deluxe has fries in it. I had one once and it was actually
pretty good. But is putting french fries in a falafel sandwich traditional?

I know they serve french fries. Is that a traditional middle eastern dish?

The people that work there speak broken english, and speak their native
language to each other while working. Oddly, though they say the english
"shit" interspersed while speaking middle eastern.

That's not what you asked about. You asked about ketchup. Not French
fries.

Perhaps they're discussing adding extra "condiments" to your order.
