Better watch out. Logic is raising its ugly head and the gun nuts don't like it when that happens. -- Food is an important part of a balanced diet. |

Logic has nothing to do with any of the absurd babble coming from the anti-gun crowd, it's all emotion based on lack of firearm knowledge. It's rather akin to someone who has never even sat in an automobile trying to comment on the operation of one. |

Ignorance of guns is a virtue for anti-gun activists. AGAs also take the view that guns have magical mind-influencing powers: "What's for dinner honey?" - Meatloaf and green beans. If Americans accept ~20,000 gun deaths per annum as an acceptable price for their right to bear arms, who are we to judge? |

Very easy to accept when the majority of those dead are criminals who have been killed by other criminals, police or civilians. Dead criminals are always a good thing. |

Homicides are down to 11,500 a year, and most of those are by-product of the illegal drug trade. I neither buy drugs nor sell them, nor do I take them, so I don't feel responsible for drug industry deaths. |

Recreation and safety, and of course exercising my constitutional right. For those who think my constitutional right should be infringed because my hobbies make you nervous, how about we require an expensive license, class and background check for you to be able to exercise your first amendment rights to more than 10 persons at a time? How about we require you to exercise that free speech with only one person allowed in the room at a time? |

No, I'm not in the drug trade as most anti-gun folks seem to be. Pretty sad how they want to take away my constitutional rights, but they think it's ok for them to use illegal drugs. Unlike them, I've never used any illegal drugs in my entire life. Safe relaxing time at the shooting range or out hunting is my drug of choice, well, that and good coffee. > > >and of course exercising my constitutional right. > > Only if you use muzzle-loaders! There were far more arms than muzzleloaders available when the second amendment was written and there were *no* restrictions placed on the type of arms the citizens could have. It is abundantly clear that this was the intention, not an oversight. |
