Those companies are able to purchase far more politicians than the
farmers can. Its that "free market" thing you often hear about.

It's a free country; everybody has the right to buy senators or
congressman whether they are fat or skinny, tall or short, left or
right, black or white, wealthy or extremely wealthy.
