![]() I suspect someone has put a curse on my chicken pot pie preparation. Yesterday I was putting together the contents when I carelessly grabbed a green-labeled can off the shelf. Turned out, after I opened it, to be spinach instead of the peas I had intended. Being cheap, I used it. The result was not too good, to say the least. I hope it will be a little bit better reheated this evening. <sigh> Three meals to go. The previous time I made it I left out the chicken! Had to add it to the finished pie. A terrible cook all my life, now getting much worse in my few remaining years. -- "Where there's smoke there's toast!" Anon |

That's what happens when you cook like playing jazz i.e., improvise - sometimes you leave out parts. OTOH, a gypsy did put a curse on me and I can no longer make my own mayo unless I make it butt-nakid by the light of the harvest moon. :-) |

You don't have the necessary sense of humor or smarts. |
