Pineapple Raisin Drop Cookies - a Kansas-German recipe
This is from a recipe by Mrs. Fred Karst
Makes 3 dozen cookies.

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, well drained
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg, well beaten
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 cup raisins
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Cream butter and sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla, egg, raisins, and pineapple.
Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together.
Stir the sifted mixture into the creamed mixture.
Drop from a spoon onto a greased cookie sheet, about 1 1/2 inches
apart.
Bake at 350° F for 10 to 15 minutes.
