Default it got cold here all of a sudden

I turned on the dryer. It's down here in the basement, warms things up a
bit. And I couldn't tell if my last load was cold because it was still damp
or because it's cold... When I go up the stairs, it's literally 15 degrees
cooler... The thought of a shower, makes me shiver.

Maybe if I take the warm clothes upstairs on the sofa, it will warm me up...
Plus, I will have clean clothes to wear! Bonus!

***
Postscript: ....went upstairs to get some more watered down V8. Did not
like the status of things up there... It's like Iceland. (Actually,
Greenland... Vikings tried to fake out their population.) I better stay
down here with the dryer a bit longer.

my electric and gas bill was under $60 last month... I do not miss those
$250 bills when she lived here... Damn kids would walk around bare foot,
t-shirts.. And she'd go turn the heat up!

Just wait until you're hauled off to the ER and have doctor bills in
the THOUSANDS... cheapos like you deserve to freeze to death. It's
very easy to see why your wife dumped you.

Very strange weather. I just had the AC on over the weekend, and then
the heat this morning.

I can switch between heat and air in one day, and think nothing of it. If
it's below 50 outside, I usually open windows to cool off, and possibly
turn whole house fan on.

Seems you're still allowing the ex to beat the crap out of you, you
really are a wuss... why don't you tell her how you're freezing your
ass off because of her... she'll kick her thermostate up two more
notches just to **** you off.

Same here. Fall is always a transition time. But I don't look to
save the few dollars on heat if I have to suffer in a cold dank house.
This time of year the A/C may only run some at mid day and the heat
comes on in the evening and a couple times during the night. The
night temperatures have been in the low 40s high 30s, it makes no
sense to let the house temperature drop into the 50s. I keep my
thermostat set at 70º all year. A little heat is still a whole lot
less money than doctor bills, and illness is no fun.

It was cold this morning, but it will be 85 this afternoon, and it will
be 90 degrees in a couple of days. I was thinking about making chili,
but who wants to eat chili when it is 90 degrees outside? That beef will
have to sit in the freezer for a while.

I do have a couple of those oil-filled radiator heaters. Aren't they
somewhat efficient?... Doesn't put off enough in the living room though.
But in the bedroom, puts out more heat than the ex's ass used to... but I
need heat in the living room... Had one in the TV room and almost set the
house on fire. (I think it was the plug/extension cord got stuck in the
rug.)

At least I will be warm tonight, in bed (set up the oil radiator and
electric blanket).. Ex says to stop talking about her ass (and boobs). She
feels it's "inappropriate" But, that's why I married her (Even at 49,
they still hang well on her. She sports them well. No wonder the tow truck
driver hit on her).

Can I not post-marriage lust once in a while? Is not post-divorce sex okay
(once in a while)? (We did it before marriage, why not after?)
