I made that by 7:20 AM today. And Chemo, what's your problem? Taking it up the ass strikes a nerve with you? |

We all can get excited, perhaps even boastful about our food-related accomplishments or discoveries, but John seems to be both bragging and shilling for Chocoley. I happen to know that his praise got him some free chocolate from them. He told me so back when we were still civil with each other, and in fact, brought some of that very chocolate to my house. It is, indeed, very good chocolate. Chocoley also produces a coverture product that is patently crappy. I don't know whether he is hoping that his praise will get him more free stuff. I imagine that he is smart enough to know that another freebie is very unlikely, and that the company has merely earned his loyalty. I can't really get my mind around John promoting a product that he doesn't actually believe in. John has portrayed the break in our friendship as a result of my having changed, but I've been around here for some time, and have been quite consistent--some might say consistently an asshole--and I haven't changed much. I admit that I am a person who inspires both intense dislike, and intense like, often the former, but when John went from casual friend, to someone who disliked me, he started attacking me pretty publicly. When I decide that an old friend has become unappealing, I try to ease myself out of the friendship, and avoid awkwardness, hoping that both parties will stay amicable, but at a distance. That seems normal, and we all do that. Sheldon might have you think that it has to do with some homosexual thing, which is absurd, since both of us are very heterosexual. John and I had some good times together canoeing, camping, whatever, and it's a bit sad that this falling out somewhat taints those memories, and while I joke that it's because Sheldon is always wanting me to be *** because he desires me, I don't really believe that's true. Sheldon is merely a bigot, and he thinks that branding a person as homosexual degrades that person. One thing that I can say that is positive about John, is that he doesn't share those bigotries. > > -sw --Bryan |

One of my fave's lately! YUM! They make it in like big chocolate chip size pieces for easy melting/mixing I'd imagine, but it's great for just eating because I can put a dozen or more pieces in my mouth at once and warm them all up to melty temp, flooding my tastebuds with rich chocolately goodness! Mmmmmmmmmmm!!! John Kuthe... |
